Fetching
I decided after months, nay years, of putting it off using straights and circulars, it was time I learnt to use DPs. I was disasterously swayed by Cheryl Niamath's gorgeous handwarmers, 'Fetching', from the cover of Knitty's Summer 2006 issue. So today I toddled off to my LYS and bought a set of DPs and two balls of Sidar Click, a gorgeously chunky dusky blue yarn. The pattern recommended Debbie Bliss's Cashmerino Aran, but as always the colour swayed me and I went for the old dubious substitution option. The tension works out fine though, so it should be ok. The DPs seem deceptively easy so far...were my fears unfounded?

I think dpns just look terrifying! Looking forward to seeing how they turn out.
